The Upper Keys League of Women Voters and the Upper Keys Business and Professional Women Invite You to Join Us in Celebrating the Constitution

The Upper Keys League of Women Voters and the Upper Keys Business and Professional Women invite you to join us in Celebrating the Constitution on September 16th from 6 -9 PM at the Murray Nelson Government and Cultural Center. The Keynote speaker will be our U.S. House Representative Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.

At the event, the winners of a student essay contest will be presented. Our middle and high school students have been asked to tell us what they think are the Essential Qualities of a Good Citizen in the Keys.

The celebration will include Dan McCrea, a renowned expert on Election Security. His topic will be Florida Elections Security – Today, in 2020 and Beyond.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that works to secure democracy’s promise through voter education, issue advocacy and citizen outreach. The Business and Professional Women work to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.

The event is free and the public is welcome. There will be food and a cash bar from 6-7 pm with the event starting at 7 PM. Free Pocket Constitutions will be available for the first 100 people. Hosted at the Murray E. Nelson Government and Cultural Center in Key Largo – 102050 Overseas Highway MM 102.
